And [livejournal.com profile] daigranon! I am so sorry I am so tardy, but your belated fic is coming. >>" It's just... coming together rather slowly. *sigh* Sorry.

Anyway, HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR everyone! Or Chinese New Year, whichever way, politically correct or not. :) Therefore, things have been their normal crazy self except multiplied by maybe 14 (the length of time the New Year lasts... or was it 15?). Anyway, so it's hectic, but I hope everyone else is doing well and staying safe and warm with all the crazy weather that's been coming around.

To end this, my favorite New Year's song when I was little (and still my favorite now I believe):

Anyway, good night! (Or day if you're on the other side of the world.) ♥

And may all the rabbits jump happily. :D

I live near the china town district in Amsterdam. When I went groceries shopping the other day there was a dragon parade. I saw at least twelve Dutch families with a little chinese boy or girl. I can only assume this is the most popular daytrip for people who adopted a chinese child. It was lovely btw.

It's really amazing when you get to see the actual festivities. :) My personal favorite are the lion dance competitions actually. My other favorite thing about Chinese New Year is that it really is a good time for people - friends and family - to just connect. Visit, exchanging gifts, and having a good time.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D
