When you upload it to whatever image hosting place you use, [i.e. Imageshack, Photobucket, etc.] the URL to the image is already there. Or if you're posting a picture directly from a website [which is called hotlinking, and I highly do not recommend this] you can right-click on the picture and then click on "View Image." But that last way of doing it only works in Mozilla Firefox [I think].

What if you want to use the results of a quiz?

Usually, for quizzes, they have the results coded for you to post on LJ. But if they don't, save the image on your computer and then upload it somewhere [you don't have to register if you use ImageShack] and put it in the code. Sometimes, though, most image hosting sites have it already coded as an image [just look for where it says its coded in HTML if you don't feel like coding it yourself.]

Sometimes they code it in BBCode, so you have to see if it's HTML or not. An easy way to tell if they don't label it is that BBCode uses brackets --> [...] and HTML uses carrot-thingies --> <...>

But if it doesn't, upload the image somewhere and then put the url of the image in the code for posting images and then just copy and paste the text blah blah blah, etc., etc., etc.
