This is such a lovely story. Your writing is beautiful and poetic and wonderfully understated at just the right times. I did something I don't usually do and split up my reading over the course a few evenings so I could really savor the story.

Your descriptions of New Caprica and the big and small events that Gaeta and Hoshi experienced are so rich in detail I felt like I was experiencing a lost episode at times. I also like how you captured a wide range of situations and emotions for them as their relationship progresses from the tentative first thoughts to a deep friendship and love. Fantastic job!
